Dry Needling

Dry needling is a latest technique used by medical practitioners, to work on localized trigger points or do nerve mapping for radiating pain. A fine needle is inserted into the skin and the muscle. Dry needling helps to reduce pain, improve range of motion, and enhance tissue healing.

Cupping

We provide safe vacuum cupping technique. Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under the skin. Your body treats the cupping area like an injury. It sends more blood to the area to stimulate the natural healing process. It is used in conditions causing muscle pain, sports injury, restriction in range of motion, also over the adhered scars.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization

Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a skilled myofascial intervention used for soft-tissue treatment. Instruments effectively break down fascial restrictions and scar tissue.

Blood Flow Restriction Technique

Venous supply to a muscle is occluded which in turn increases type 2 muscle fibers stimulation, cellular hypertrophy and improve in muscle strength. BFR is a therapeutic technique in which muscle is loaded 30-40 % of RM instead of 70-80 % due to restrictions like post-surgical, non-weight bearing status or due to elderly patients having difficulty with participation in high impact exercises. A pressure cuff is put on the limb depending on the size of the limb, muscle mass and fat tissue. Patient is made to exercise for 15 – 30 reps of 4 sets, with 4 sec exercises and 7 sec rest periods. Patient reports of same level of muscle fatigue as to high impact activities due to high lactic acid accumulation.
